About the event

It’s a three-day event that brings together stalwarts, start-ups, creative legends and new challengers. Now in its 30th year, eurobest came to London for the first time and was held at Victoria House Basement in Central London

eurobest is audacious in its ideas and experimental in its outlook. Its all about networking and celebrating the best of European creativity

The event explores how thrilling developments are shaking up the creative landscape. Attendees learn why diversity and inclusion create better work, and discover how creativity can be a powerful force for change.


After continued success with clients on other brands we were asked to tender for eurobest. Selected out of 5 competitors based on our understanding of what the event required, technical specification and creative design, we were asked to be their technical and creative providers


eurobest was fully supplied by Showcase, Showcase being the sole supplier. The elements they delivered were;

Using the latest Visual technology of 2.6mm & 3.9mm SMD LED panels were created for the back drops for the two main stage areas, awards shortlist entries, HD content and Awards evening. This technology allowed for multiple inputs onto screen with the background layers created to give the digital backdrop an animated effect

Due to its open space two systems had to be created to allow the delegate to listen in two simultaneous areas. Silent headsets system were used to one area and then a main audio systems for the main stage. UHF radio mics in all areas along with fully selectable channels for the silent areas, which included a dedicated screening room for new release content

The use of LED moving head and fixed generic lighting were used to give a slow wash state effect to the areas. LED Battens were placed around the venue for ambient lighting.

Full print supply and manufacturing of vinyl cut stickers, fabric banners and Foamex boards – Over 100 individual pieces were fully installed on site to all areas of the venue

Furniture Design & Specification
Designed, sourced and supplied all furniture for the event. This ranged from registration counters, bars, poser tables, delegate seating and lounge areas. Design & Installation was managed completely by Showcase

Set/Stage & Scenic
All areas were designed and be-spoke manufactured for all areas of the Festival including all integral areas for the AV along with specially design aluminium pop up pods for the expo area

Speaker Content & Management
Fully integrated networked system allowed for each area to have full rehearsal checks and all content to be checked and ready to go live to each stage. Presenters were given orientation session to get use to the digital technology and stages they would be presenting on

Space planning & Design
The whole event was designed and planned for considering all areas including event flow by Showcase based on full structural surveys and planning of all elements. Furniture, wiring, lighting, power, rigging, equipment and signage layouts. Full visual renders and fly through’s were created so the client could get a full appreciation of how the space would look when installed.

Operations & logistics
All traffic and personnel movement in and out of the venue for the event. The plans and schedules were created by the Showcase production team and worked in conjunction with the venues and clients H&S policies

A dedicated awards evening was held on the last evening which was fully installed with a seven screen set up combining projection & LED technology. A full camera system and 5 pre-sets for main production were set out to gain best usage of all technology installed. Lighting effects for the winners trophies were designed, trophy plinths were designed and manufactured by Showcase. The awards happened over the same period the Festival was being dismantled and had two concurrent crew shifts to complete the workload which included managing over 70 staff for the event.


The festival was set up in 18 hours over two days prior to the event starting. Set up and build was seamless and complete ahead of schedule, thanks to the efficiency and diligence of our trusted expert crew.

Over 100 speakers including cultural influencers, creative legends and global brand leaders took the stage in a series of talks, discussions, interactive workshops and live demos to inspire, inform and ignite debate.
