About the event

ad:tech London is a B2B trade show where the UK’s marketing and media players meet to discover new technologies and network with their peers.

In 2016 the event was held at Shoreditch Town Hall, this venue had difficult access with only 26ton trucks capable of reversing around the tight corner down to the loading bay. We managed to overcome this challenge by ensuring the correct levels of crew were supplied to the job to compliment the technical crew supplied.

Solution

The equipment we supplied:

Plenary – 35m2 of SMD LED Screen, Spyder Video control package with content playback and live camera, moving light package, stage furniture and lectern, Audio package with radio mics, d&b Y-Series line array.

Breakout – Large format printed graphic backdrop with integrate 65″ screen, audio and video control package, LED wireless uplighters.

Expo – 32″ Displays on all expo stands.

Networking drinks/party – Halloween themed event, we supplied an audio package including DJ setup, lighting package including moving lights, pixel mapped LED tubes, haze and low fog.

The plenary, a 400 seat auditorium, featured the 30m2 SMD LED screen as the backdrop to the stage. This was split into 3 sections and staggered to provide the presenters with a walkway onto the stage. Behind the LED screen we had dedicated technicians assisting with presentations and radio microphones. Audio, Video and Lighting control was based on the balcony with a dedicated network linking our speaker preview area to vision control. Show calling was also provided by Showcase for the duration of the 2 day event.
